CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - PIPELINE

FRAG is looking for a Construction Manager for a Gas pipeline project in Iraq.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Follow up and supervision of the Subcontractor’s Temporary Construction Facilities installation (i.e.: camps, accommodations, offices, warehouse, workshop, etc.)
  • Single Interface with Client site representatives for the proper coordination of all site activities and HSE related issues
  • Monitoring and coordination of discipline supervisors
  • Monitoring and coordination with QA/QC and HSE Managers
  • Monitoring of construction works progress with the support of project planner 
  • Monitoring of construction works till Mechanical Completion and Commissioning
  • Reviewing and approving the extra works and additional works proposed by Subcontractors (and finally approved by Project Manager)
  • Highlighting all potential risks and criticalities at site
  • Proposing and settling the required corrective actions in order to recover any delay
  • Periodical reporting to Project Manager
  • Supervise the cost controlling of construction works activities, including field running costs


Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • At least 10 years previous experience in the same role
  • Oil & Gas Sectors background (Upstream/Downstream Plants)
  • Previous experience in a pipeline projects
  • Knowledge of technical drawings, project documents, specifications and method statements
  • Proficient knowledge in Planning Management and Material Control
  • Fluent knowledge of English languages
